Botanics Organic Hydrating Day cream

I like the day cream. I've been using it at night. It's not greasy and goes on easy. It smells good and leaves my skin feeling soft!

Foot Petals

These wool inserts are made for boots and designed to offer support but also keep your toes warm! They're one size but on the back are small, medium and large guidelines. You just cut to the size you need and stick them in your boots! Super easy and super comfortable! I have a pair of boots I wear a lot but they don't offer much support. I put my Foot Petals in them and they're so much better! Now I can wear them when I am all my feet all day!

Sinful Colors Sinfulshine Nail Polish

I was sent Diamond in the Raw along with a top coat. I liked the metallic color and it lasted for about a week - I consider a week long lasting. Because it's glittery, removing it takes a little effort but I liked the color and how easy it went on. 

Good Health Veggie Straws

I tried these and maybe if I were to eat them again I might like them but I wasn't a fan. They didn't have a whole lot of flavor.  I was sent the Sea Salt flavor but there are other flavors to try.

SoapBox Shampoo and Conditioner

I like this shampoo and conditioner for two reasons. One is that it leaves my hair feeling soft but whenever you buy a SoapBox product, you provide clean water or soap to those in need. The only thing I didn't like is that the shampoo didn't lather well. I had to use quite a bit to feel like it was getting my hair clean. I like that it's gently on my hair and safe for color-treated hair. 

Yogi Tea

I was sent Sweet Tangerine and Vanilla Spice. The Sweet Tangerine was ok but I really liked the Vanilla Spice flavor! I added a little creamer to it and it was really good! Definitely a flavor I would buy! There are so many other flavors as well and some are available in Single Serve Cups. I want to try the Peppermint and their Chai teas. Not Your Mother's Whip It Up Cream Styling Mousse

I've used Not Your Mother's products before but haven't tried the mousse until now. And I love it! It's whipped so a little goes a long way and it smells like vanilla cupcake! It doesn't leave my hair feeling sticky or heavy. I haven't been able to find it in stores so I've already ordered some from Amazon because it's that great!

influenster: mary kay review

Besides reviewing books, I also review products through Influenster. This time I was sent a box of great Mary Kay products. I've never used anything from Mary Kay before but I may have to change that! What did I get?

Lash Love Lengthening mascara, Lash Primer, Eye Color (Violet Storm), Eye Color/Concealer Brush and True Dimensions Lip Stick (Pink Cherie).

My favorite thing would be the eye color! I've tried other eyeshadow creams and they've been hard to apply - I'm not sure if it was the brand or the brush I used - so I normally use a powder. So I was pleasantly surprised with this. I love the color - it's not too bright of a purple - and goes on smooth. The lash primer can be used alone or with the mascara. I like to use them together. And the lipstick. The color is pretty but the case is so cool! You can't really tell from the picture but you push the center of the top of the lid and the lipstick slides out - very spy-ish :) I was very pleased with the products and may be a new Mary Kay fan!

Chapstick - Lip Shield 365

Loved this! It smells like lemonade and my lips just feel so much better after putting it on! I've used chapsticks before that just didn't last but I really like this one. 

SOYJOY - Blueberry 

I'm not a fan of soy but wanted to give this a try. The first bite was ok but it was downhill after that. If you like soy, you'd probably like SOYJOY but it wasn't for me. 

Aveeno - Daily Moisturizing Body Wash

I was pleasantly surprised with this product! It lathers amazingly well without having to use a lot of it. I would definitely buy this once I use all of the sample.

Dr. Scholl's for Her - Ball of Foot Pads

I've never bought or used Dr. Scholl's before but I've heard of the brand. I have a pair of great silver heels that are a little big for me. My toes gradually slip down into them, making them uncomfortable - though they're super cute :) I put this product in them and so far, am excited at the result. They keep my feet from slipping so I'm hoping this'll be the beginning of a great relationship with my shoes :)

Bath & Body Works - Fine Fragrance Mist

I received a bottle of "Paris Amour" (not pictured) and LOVE it! I was already a fan of Bath & Body Works before this Voxbox but was super excited to receive a bottle of spray! I love the variety of scents they have and just the whole experience of shopping there! I love the product and would definitely recommend it! 

Sheer Cover - Duo Concealer

I normally don't use concealer in my everyday makeup routine but have used this a handful of times. It's been ok - what I don't like is having two shades in one container. I'd rather have just the one shade instead of including one that isn't right for me. I've not been amazed with it but not disappointed either.

Sally Hansen - Salon Effects

I like having color on my nails though I'm constantly frustrated when I chip my polish. I was excited at this alternative to nail polish - something almost like tape. However, my trial run using it was not impressive. I had a hard time pulling off the backing and then making the edges nice and clean from filing off the excess. I'm not sure if you're supposed to apply a top coat of nail polish but I didn't. I loved how shiny the strips are but they started chipping right away and I ended up taking them off the next day. For a special occasion they would probably be great but I'm thinking not for every day.

Influenster is a site that mails you a free box of products in exchange for your honest review. It doesn't get any better than that :) I received my first box back in June and got another one last month. Here's what came in my box:

The design I received is called "TGIF." I absolutely LOVE the variety of designs! What I didn't like is that the nails don't come in different widths. I think most of them fit my nails except for the thumbs. These have glue already on them and you just pull off the backing before applying. To me, this made them not stick as well as applying the glue myself. These are great for a special occasion but not for everyday. I love how shiny the nails are. I like the product but not overly impressed with it. By going to the imPRESS site, you can print off a $1 coupon and try them for yourself.

2. Softsoap Coconut Scrub Bar Soap

I actually am using the Coconut Scrub body wash right now so it was fun to receive the bar soap. I normally buy whatever is the cheapest when it comes to bar soap but really like this one! I like how it lathers and doesn't have an overpowering coconut smell. I'd definitely buy this!

3. Mentos Pure Fresh Gum

I normally buy Orbit Wintermint gum. I liked the burst of mint when you first start chewing the Mentos gum. Like most gums, the flavor doesn't last all that long. I would put this on par with Orbit. I liked it but didn't think it super amazing.

4. LARABAR

I tried the Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip flavor but wasn't overly impressed. It had a unusual taste. If you're a fan of health bars then I'm sure you'd enjoy it but it wasn't for me.

5. New York Color Liquid Lip Shine

I was sent "Nude York City" and LOVE it! I love the subtle color and how shiny it is. It lasts a long time and I like the smell - sort of cinnamon-y. I would definitely buy this once I use it all!

6. Montagne Jeunesse Face Mask

I was sent a "Pulped Pomegranate" peel off mask. I prefer peels to those that you rinse off. I was very pleased with this product. It was thick enough to make me feel I was really covering my face and it was easy to peel off (I've used some that turned into a big mess). It left my face feeling clean and I'd definitely try it again.

Montagne Jeunesse Green Tea Peel Off Face Mask
I really liked this mask. I normally use mask that has to be rinsed off but I prefer a peel. I liked that it smelled good (always important) and it was super easy to apply. I used the whole packet at once but it could probably be divided for two or more uses.

This kit includes:
- Skin Softening Cleanser
- Antioxidant Day Creme
- Anti-Aging Night Creme
- Lifting Eye Creme
- Firming Chest and Neck Creme
- Deep Cleansing Masque
- Wrinkle Smoothing Capsules
- Glowing Serum

I haven't used all of these products yet but I've liked what I've tried. The cleanser is great and leaves my skin feeling clean. The day creme is great for when I don't want to wear foundation but still want sun coverage. The masque is also great. I've used the night creme and firming creme but can't say I've seen a difference as of yet. Overall, I've liked the products.


Pure Silk Raspberry Mist Shaving Cream

I normally use a gel shaving cream but I was impressed with this! It seemed like I could use less of it because it spreads really well. I may stick to creams from now on : )

Diamancel Diamond Foot File

This is amazing! I've used it twice now and am loving the results. I use it, put some lotion on my feet and then put socks on to make my feet silky smooth. Very pleased with this product.

Softsoap Pampered Hands Foaming Hand Soap - Tangerine Treat

I'm not a big fan of foam soap because I always have to use a lot in order for my hands to feel clean. However, I don't have to do that with this product. It smells great and I would definitely purchase this product.
